Health and Wellness are two major components of life we strive for. Having good health and being able to do the things we want with the people we want are important. But maintaining health and wellness as we get older gets tougher.
The opposite of health and wellness is probably disease and death. My dad had heart problems early, lost kidney function after battling cancer, and eventually died in his early 70s from a stroke. My wife’s parents both were stricken with Alzheimer’s. I have asthma and have had seven melanomas. We all have or know people we care about with these diseases.
Many degenerative diseases can be prevented or better managed if we know the causes and how they develop. There is much we can do if we make some lifestyle changes and know what alternatives exist to make the changes.
